J’ai beaucoup regrett\u00e9 la b\u00eatise \u00e9voqu\u00e9e ailleurs dans ces pages et qui m’a conduit \u00e0 prendre au s\u00e9rieux un canular publi\u00e9 sur le Net<\/a>. Archytas a peut-\u00eatre pressenti les applications potentielles de sa colombe, mais ce n’est pas Aulu-Gelle qui peut nous en persuader.<\/p>\n

\"Aulu-Gelle\"<\/a>En revanche, je me suis beaucoup amus\u00e9 \u00e0 produire une autre b\u00eatise – volontaire cette fois – sous la forme d’un expos\u00e9 pseudo-scientifique sur la bionique<\/a>. Pour autant, les travaux actuellement men\u00e9s sur les Interfaces Cerveau-Ordinateur<\/em> sont extr\u00eamement s\u00e9rieux et permettent d\u00e9j\u00e0, par exemple, de commander un drone par la pens\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

I deeply regret the stupidity evocated elsewhere in these pages, which led me to take seriously a hoax published on the Net. Archytas may have foreseen the potential applications<\/span> of<\/span> his dove, but it’s not Aulus-Gellius who may persuade us that such was the case.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the contrary, I enjoyed myself so much producing another stupidity – this time voluntarily – in the form of a pseudo-<\/span><\/span>scientific presentation of bionics. However, the ongoing works on Brain-Computer Interfaces are extremely serious and already make it possible, for example, to control a drone by thought.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, I have often found – on the occasion of questions addressed at various conferences – that others than me may suffer of delirious episodes. They benefit all the more of my sympathy because I cannot know if they are serious or not…<\/span><\/p>\n
